ACAD Skill Cards

Validity: 3 years. No renewal.

Card Requirements:

ACAD/IATP/UKATA/ARCA New or Refresher Operative Training Certificate issued within the last 12 months

AND have a valid certificate in any of the following:

• Must have passed the CITB HS&E test within the last two years
• Hold a CCNSG Safety Passport

Validity: 1 year. No renewal.

This card will be issued upon receipt of proof that the applicant has successfully completed one of the following routes:

• Registered and actively doing the L2 NVQ Removal of Hazardous Waste (Construction) - Licensed Asbestos with ACAD
• Registered and actively doing the L2 NVQ Removal of Hazardous Waste (Construction) - Licensed Asbestos through an alternative training provider

AND

ACAD/IATP/UKATA/ARCA Operative Refresher Training Certificate within the last 12 months

AND have a valid certificate in any of the following:

• Must have passed the CITB HS&E test within the last two years
• Hold a CCNSG Safety Passport

Note that holders of a trainee card cannot then obtain an experienced worker card, and vice versa. Holders must earn the appropriate qualifications and move on to the relevant skilled worker/supervisor/manager card.

Validity: 5 years. Renewable.

Card Requirements:

NVQ L2 Removal of Hazardous Waste (Construction) -Licensed Asbestos

AND

ACAD/IATP/UKATA/ARCA Operative Refresher Training Certificate within the last 12 months

AND have a valid certificate in any of the following:

• Must have passed the CITB HS&E test within the last two years
• Hold a CCNSG Safety Passport

Validity: three years. No renewal.

Card Requirements:

ACAD/IATP/UKATA/ARCA Supervisor. Refresher Training Certificate within the past 12 months.

AND have a valid certificate in any of the following:

• Must have passed the CITB HS&E Test (Supervisory) within the last two years
• Possess a CCNSG Safety Passport

Validity: 1 year. No renewal.

This card will be given upon receipt of proof that the applicant has successfully completed one of the following routes:

• Registered and actively doing the L2 NVQ Removal of Hazardous Waste (Construction) - Licensed Asbestos with ACAD.
• Registered and actively doing the L2 NVQ Removal of Hazardous Waste (Construction) - Licensed Asbestos with an alternative training provider.
• Possess NVQ L2 Removal of Hazardous Waste (Construction) - Licensed Asbestos

AND

Registered for the L3 NVQ Diploma in Occupational Work Supervision

AND

ACAD/IATP/UKATA/ARCA Supervisor. Refresher Training Certificate within the past 12 months

AND have a valid certificate in any of the following:

• Must have passed the CITB HS&E Test (Supervisory) within the last two years
• Possess a CCNSG Safety Passport

Note: Trainee card holders cannot obtain an experienced worker card or vice versa. Holders have to obtain the necessary qualifications before progressing to the relevant skilled worker/supervisor/manager card.

Validity: 5 years. Renewable.

Card Requirements:

NVQ L2 Removal of Hazardous Waste (Construction)-Licensed Asbestos

AND

L3 NVQ Diploma in Occupational Work Supervision

AND

ACAD/IATP/UKATA/ARCA Supervisor Refresher Training Certificate within the past 12 months

AND have a valid certificate in any of the following:

• Must have passed the CITB HS&E Test (Supervisory) within the last two years
• Possess a CCNSG Safety Passport

Validity: 3 years. No renewal.

Card Requirements:

ACAD/IATP/UKATA/ARCA New or Refresher Manager Training Certificate within the last 12 months

AND have a valid certificate in any of the following:

• Must have passed the CITB HS&E Test (managers and professionals) within the past two years
• Hold a CCNSG Safety Passport

Validity: 1 year. No renewal.

This card will be issued upon receipt of documentation that the applicant is registered and actively pursuing the L4 Diploma in Licensed Asbestos Removal for Contract Managers.

AND

ACAD/IATP/UKATA/ARCA Manager Refresher Training Certificate within the past 12 months

AND have a valid certificate in any of the following:

• Must have passed the CITB HS&E Test (managers and professionals) within the past two years
• Hold a CCNSG Safety Passport

Note: Trainee card holders cannot then obtain an experienced worker card, and vice versa. Holders must earn the relevant qualification before progressing to the relevant skilled worker/supervisor/manager card.

L4 Diploma in Licensed Asbestos Removal for Contract Managers

AND

ACAD/IATP/UKATA/ARCA Manager Refresher Training Certificate within the past 12 months

AND have a valid certificate in any of the following:

• Must have passed the CITB HS&E Test (managers and professionals) within the last 2 years
• Hold a CCNSG Safety Passport

Validity: 3 years. No renewal.

Card Requirements:

ACAD/IATP/UKATA Non-Licensed Operative New/Refresher Training Certificate within the last 12 months

AND have a valid certificate in any of the following:

• Must have passed the CITB HS&E test within the last two years
• Hold a CCNSG Safety Passport

Validity: 1 year. No renewal.

Registered for a Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Hazardous Waste Removal (Construction)

AND

ACAD/IATP/UKATA Non-Licensed Operative Refresher Training Certificate issued within the past 12 months

AND have a valid certificate in any of the following:

• Hold a CCNSG Safety Passport

Card Requirements:

Have valid certificates in ONE of the following routes:

• BOHS P403 and P404
• BOHS S301 and Oral
• BOHS W504 and Oral
• RSPH L3 in Asbestos Air Testing and Clearance procedures

AND

Hold a valid certificate in any of the following:

• Must have passed the CITB HS&E Test within the last two years
• Have a CCNSG Safety Passport
• *P403 without P404 is acceptable for the "Asbestos Air Sampling Only" limitation to the Asbestos Analyst card

Validity: 1 year. No renewal.

• BOHS P402
• BOHS S301 and Oral
• BOHS W504 and Oral
• RSPH L3 in Asbestos Surveying

AND have a valid certificate in ONE of the following:

• Must have passed the CITB HS&E test within the last two years
• Hold a CCNSG Safety Passport

Validity: 5 years. Renewable.

Card Requirements:

Have valid certificates in ONE of the following routes:

• BOHS P402 and P403 AND P404
• BOHS S301 and Oral
• BOHS W504 and Oral
• RSPH L3 in Asbestos Air Testing and Clearance procedures and RSPH L3 in Asbestos Surveying

AND have a valid certificate in ONE of the following:

• Must have passed the CITB HS&E test within the last two years
• Hold a CCNSG Safety Passport
