The Level 7 Diploma equips senior professionals with the knowledge and skills to manage occupational health and safety at a strategic level. It focuses on developing leadership capabilities, risk governance, compliance, and the ability to influence board-level decision-making in health, safety, and environmental (HSE) management. The qualification is globally recognised and highly respected by employers, supporting career progression into roles such as Health and Safety Manager, Safety Director, or Risk Management Officer. This diploma is aimed at senior managers, directors, consultants, or professionals responsible for shaping and leading an organisation’s health and safety strategy.

What this NVQ involves

Our assessor schedules the appointments with the candidate at times that work for both parties.

Since the NVQ Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Health & Safety Leadership & Managementqualification is candidate-led, they can be completed swiftly once the majority of the evidence has been acquired for the proposed evidence list, a copy of which we've provided. After the evidence is gathered (by email), the NVQ Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Health & Safety Leadership & Management qualification can be completed quickly in two to three sessions, lasting a few hours each, as long as the candidate can set aside time for the professional follow-up discussion to go over all of the given evidence.

The follow-up professional discussion can be completed face-to-face or remotely.

1st visit – Induction, planning

2nd visit – discuss evidences, identify shortfall of evidences

3rd – visit – Discuss new evidences, cover shortfall in questions (if required) - completed

The Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Health and Safety Leadership and Management is assessed through a combination of on-the-job assessment and portfolio building. Learners will need to provide evidence of their knowledge, skills, and competence in a range of construction contracting areas, such as health and safety, project planning, procurement, and budgeting.

Yes, you can be eligible for the CSCS Black card, as long as you have completed the Managers and Professional Health and Safety Test within 2 years of applying for the card.
