How do you get a CSCS Gold Advanced Craft Card?
In order to apply for this card Candidates must have an in date CITB health, safety & environment test which should be the Operative or Specialist test depending on occupation. Candidates also need one of the following:
Achieved a Construction Related NVQ or SVQ level 3
Completed an approved indentured apprenticeship (e.g. with NJCBI, BATJIC etc.)
Completed an employer sponsored apprenticeship which included the achievement of a City and Guilds of London Institute Advanced Craft Certificate
How long is the CSCS Gold Advanced Craft Card valid for?
The Gold Advanced Craft Card is valid for 5 years and can be renewed if the candidate has an in-date CITB health, safety & environment test which should be the Operative or Specialist test depending on occupation.
What test do you need for a CSCS Gold Advanced Craft Card?
A Pass in the CITB health, safety & environment test For Advanced Craft occupations you should take the Operative or the Specialist test depending what your occupation is.
How much is a CSCS Gold Advanced Craft Card?
The Initial CITB Health, Safety & Environment test costs £21 and can be booked directly with CITB, The CSCS Card will then cost an additional £36.
