In-house classroom course  - a dedicated course dedicated for the employer for a group of their employees to attend at their preferred location (day rate)

Our in-house, classroom-based courses are conducted at our fully equipped training venue in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. This location offers a professional, accessible environment, complete with disabled parking and accessible facilities to ensure a comfortable experience for all participants.

Each course combines thorough theoretical instruction with practical, hands-on exercises. Participants benefit from real-time feedback and guidance from experienced trainers, ensuring they gain valuable skills ready for practical application. Our Mansfield venue is designed to support a positive and inclusive learning experience for everyone.

Remote closed course - a dedicated course dedicated for the employer for a group of their employees to attend (day rate)

Our closed courses are delivered remotely, allowing participants to join from anywhere in the country without needing to travel to a physical venue. This flexible course delivery is ideal for individuals and teams looking to gain skills in a convenient, accessible way.

Each course session combines interactive lessons with opportunities for real-time questions and discussions, making it engaging and informative. With expert instructors guiding the way, participants benefit from professional insights and practical knowledge tailored to real-world applications.

What are the requirements?

CITB Courses can now be taken remotely allowing for candidates to undertake training online by working with their tutor in an online meeting in the same way they would in a classroom setting. CITB has also introduced remote courses where candidates can take training courses on their own using online resources.

  • You MUST access the course with a Laptop or Computer.

  • Your Laptop/computer must have a camera as you must be clearly visible to the tutor throughout the course. Your device requires a microphone and speakers to enable interaction between you, the tutor and other delegates.

  • A second screen for your Laptop/Computer will be advantageous to access course information (Not Mandatory)

  • Delegates that work for the same organisation can attend the course together, provided the course is accessed by individual laptops or computers.

  • Access to reliable internet is an essential requirement and is the responsibility of each attendee.

  • You will require access to an email address to receive course materials and exercise documentation, not a photocopy or photo (driver's license, passport, CSCS/CPCS Card, etc.). For additional information, select the link for acceptable identification types: photographic ID guidance information

  • Be able to access the online meeting platform “Teams or Zoom” (link to the meeting platform will be provided by the centre).

CDM 2015 AwarenessCourse Aims

This course aims to provide an overview of the CDM Regulations 2015 and its history and to give delegates an understanding of what they are required to do by law under the regulations in their role. They will also learn the importance of integrating safety management into the planning and design stages of construction.

The purpose of training delivered against this standard is to provide candidates with an introduction to the CDM 2015 legislation. The legislation applies to domestic and commercial projects from concept to completion and details duty-holder roles and legal requirements.
