This abrasive wheel training course theory is designed for people who may be required to select or mount an abrasive wheel and diamond wheels on handheld portable abrasive wheel equipment such as petrol cut-off saws, grinders, bench saws, etc. in the workplace or who need familiarisation or refresher skills with the relevant regulations for the use of abrasive wheels.

This is a theory-based course that will cover the basic fundamental information for the safe use of abrasive wheels and will go through the inspection and mounting procedures for cutting and grinding discs appropriate to the client’s needs.

Client to specify and provide types of equipment and cutting/grinding wheels used where possible to ensure this will meet the specific needs of their employees.
