This Level 7 NVQ construction management is a work-based qualification aimed at learners who are senior construction managers in the construction industry working in a wide range of job roles including Managing Directors, members of the board of directors or those who are directly responsible to the board of directors or MD, who are involved in managing construction processes, chairing meetings, recruitment and dealing with project team members on construction projects.
Our assessor schedules the appointments with the candidate at times that work for both parties.
Since NVQs are candidate-led, they can be completed swiftly once the majority of the evidence has been acquired for the proposed evidence list, a copy of which we've provided. After the evidence is gathered (by email), the NVQ can be completed quickly in two to three sessions, lasting a few hours each, as long as the candidate can set aside time for the professional follow-up discussion to go over all of the given evidence.
The follow-up professional discussion can be completed face-to-face or remotely.

2nd visit – discuss evidences, identify shortfall of evidences
3rd – visit – Discuss new evidences, cover shortfall in questions (if required) - completed

They can become professional members of the Chartered Institute of Building (MCIOB) by using the qualification. This NVQ can also lead to a CSCS Black Manager card with the occupation options of Construction Senior Manager, Contracts Manager or Construction Project manager, or a CCDO Black Manager card with the occupation of Contracts Manager.
CIOB stands for the Chartered Institute of Building. It is a professional body for construction management and leadership, with a focus on promoting best practices and standards within the industry. CIOB offers various membership levels and qualifications, including the Chartered Membership (MCIOB), which is a recognised mark of professionalism in the construction industry. This level 7 construction senior management is a direct entry for a Chartered membership (MCIOB). On application approval, the person may be eligible for a £600 grant through the CITB.

Yes, you can be eligible for the CSCS Black card, as long as you have completed the Managers and Professional Health and Safety Test within 2 years of applying for the card, or CCDO Black card (additional requirements of a 5 day CCDO Demolition Managers course and hold a valid Asbestos Awareness certificate).
