The Level 4 NVQ Diploma in Controlling Lifting Operations—Supervising Lifts is a vocational qualification designed for individuals who supervise and control lifting operations in the workplace. To enrol in the Level 4 NVQ Diploma in Controlling Lifting Operations—Supervising Lifts, you must have a relevant level 3 qualification or relevant work experience in the lifting operations industry. Additionally, you must have access to a workplace where you can carry out the required assessments.
The NVQ covers a range of competencies related to controlling lifting operations, including supervising lifting operations, planning and preparing lifting operations, and maintaining safe working conditions. It also covers the legal and regulatory requirements for lifting operations, as well as risk assessment and emergency procedures.
