About The Course
This one day course is for anyone that will be working with temporary works but not carrying out the duties of temporary works coordinator (TWC) or the temporary works supervisor (TWS).
Designed to raise awareness and knowledge of temporary works in general, by including topics such as how they are used, issues with temporary works and the management of temporary works, the course is constructed around BS5975 – the code of practice for temporary works.
Course Content
This course is endorsed by Build UK and upon completion of the course candidates will be able to:
Understand what constitutes temporary works
Know how temporary works are used
Understand the importance of safety and how to overcome common safety issues
Understand the need for management processes.
