This course is for anyone who requires a greater understanding of how to establish and implement health and safety management systems for the workforce or individuals following the HSE’s Plan, Do, Check, Act approach, which is an integral part of risk management and is suitable for operatives, supervisors, and managers.

The Managing for Health and Safety HSG 65 course is aimed at providing information on how health and safety management systems should be implemented within an organisation, including health and safety policy structure, implementation of procedures, and monitoring through leading and lagging indicators.

This course can be adapted to suit the client’s requirements and company procedures. Training can be delivered on site using the client’s training room or at a convenient, suitable location.

  • Email address – to receive course materials and exam instructions
  • Photographic ID – such as a driving licence or passport
  • Access to Zoom or Microsoft Teams – a meeting link will be sent prior to the course

Candidates whose first language is not English are welcome to attend. However, all courses are conducted, assessed/marked and certificated in English.

To successfully complete the course, candidates must have a sufficient level of English to:

  • Undertake the course requirements
  • Understand the course they are registered for
  • Recognise the purpose of undertaking it

For candidates whose first language is not English, the use of a bilingual dictionary in book form (not electronic or translator devices) is permitted during assessment.
