The Hand Arm Vibration in Construction course aims to provide basic awareness for recognising, managing, and mitigating the effects of hand-arm vibration. Hand-arm vibration syndrome (HAVS) is also known as vibration white finger (VWF) and dead finger. It is a secondary form of Raynaud’s syndrome, an industrial injury triggered by the continuous use of vibrating hand-held machinery.
This Hand Arm Vibration in Construction is designed for people who may be subjected to vibration in the workplace that has the potential to cause irreversible health effects or who need refresher training on the relevant regulations. It is suitable for operatives, supervisors, and management. You must have completed the full Hand Arm Vibration in Construction course to attend this refresher.
