CITB Support

I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Mark and the entire team at Workforce Skills for the outstanding training and support provided throughout my Level 7 NVQ in Senior Site Management. From start to finish, the process was handled with professionalism, clarity, and a consistently high standard of delivery.

The depth of knowledge and experience that Mark brings to the table is evident in every interaction. His guidance was invaluable, not just in navigating the NVQ requirements, but in enhancing my understanding of leadership and site management at a senior level. The training materials were comprehensive, well-structured, and directly aligned with industry expectations, which made the learning both relevant and engaging.

What stood out most was the team’s commitment to quality and their proactive approach to ensuring I stayed on track. They were always available to answer questions and provide feedback, making the journey feel both supported and efficient.

Your company will be required to make an assessment of training needs to evaluate the level of competency of their workers. HSE, other relevant codes of practice, or industry card scheme criteria recommend that the candidate complete a refresher of his/her training HSE guidance statesFor awareness training, there is no need to repeat a full training course every year; however, some suitable refresher should be given, which can be provided as part of other health and safety updates.

We recommend either the IATP or UKATA annual asbestos refresher, with the option of issuing a dual certificate alongside the Level 2 Award. This approach meets common industry needs at present and gives you both the long-term, regulated qualification and the recognised site-specific certificate.

Please note your specific client requirements may differ against HSE guidance even though the Level 2 Award is a regulated, nationally recognised lifetime qualification that meets high training and compliance standards, industry practices have not yet fully caught up with this approach and they may still request for specific certification for annual refreshers from the CPD accredited schemes such as UKATA, IATP etc. Please check your client requirements for certification.
