The Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Specialist Installation Occupations (Construction) is a vocational qualification for individuals working in specialist installation roles within the construction and built environment sectors. It assesses your competence in the practical skills and knowledge required for your chosen specialist installation pathway based on your performance in a real workplace environment.
This NVQ is designed for people employed in specialist installation roles such as roof line system installers, sealant applicators, point of purchase installers, industrial storage equipment installers, and blinds or solar shading systems installers. It is suitable for experienced operatives who want formal recognition of their practical skills and competence in these specialist areas.
The NVQ cost can vary. Please see our payment options.
There are no formal academic entry requirements. However, you must be employed and working in a relevant specialist installation role so that you can demonstrate the required skills and provide workplace evidence as part of the assessment.
Assessment is workplace-based and focused on your actual job performance. It involves observation of your work by a qualified assessor, professional discussions about how you complete tasks, witness testimonies, and the compilation of a portfolio of evidence demonstrating your competence across the units required for your chosen pathway.
