Secure Your Funding Now: Important Changes to NVQ Level 7 Grant Support

If you’ve been considering starting your Level 7 NVQ in Construction Senior Management, now is the time to act. With recent announcements about Enhanced Grant changes, waiting could cost your business significantly more.

Enhanced Grants Confirmed – But Only Until 31st December 2025

CITB has confirmed that Enhanced Grants will remain in place until 31st December 2025 for Gold and Black card-qualifying NVQs, including the Level 7 Construction Senior Management qualification.

What does this mean for you?

• If you start and complete the qualification before 31st December 2025, your company can claim the full grant amount—up to the current enhanced level.
• This means the NVQ can be delivered at £600 net cost (pay, then claim back) when you claim back through the grant.

What Happens After 1st January 2026?

From January 2026 onwards:

• Enhanced grant support ends, and drops to £600.
• The achievement grant value will drop, increasing the net cost of the qualification by up to £1,500.

• Level 7 NVQ Diploma in Construction Senior Management
• Level 6 NVQ Diploma in Construction Site Management
• Level 6 NVQ Diploma in Construction Contracting Operations Management
• Level 6 NVQ Diploma in Senior Site Inspection
