The purpose of the Risk Assessment course is to provide the candidate with the legal requirements under the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations to ensure employers and self-employed persons carry out risk assessments for all work activities. The course will include writing risk assessments and identifying the hierarchy of control for risks in the workplace. This course can be delivered in a classroom environment or remotely.
The Risk Assessments course is suitable for anyone who may be required to carry out risk assessments, document their findings, and be able to identify suitable control measures to be implemented to reduce the risks will also be covered. Elements of dynamic risk assessments will also be covered for those who work in environments that can change regularly. This course would be suitable for managers, supervisors, and operatives to help develop or refresh their knowledge of safe systems of work.
