The Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Removal of Hazardous Waste—Licenced Asbestos and Non-Licensed Asbestos qualification has been developed for achievement in a real workplace environment, which means you need to be employed to undertake this qualification. This qualification enables you, the learner, to demonstrate and recognise your skills, knowledge and understanding and to demonstrate your competence in a real workplace environment so you can work as a Hazardous Waste Remover within the construction industry.

Yes, you can be eligible for the CSCS Blue Skilled Workers card, as long as you have passed the CITB HS&E Test (Operative) within the previous 2 years of applying for the card or hold a valid CCNSG Safety Passport. Please contact Workforce Skills Support for further CSCS experience, trainee card information, and other training requirements needed prior to making a card application.
