TWC Course Information

The two-day Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC) training course is designed to assist those on site who have responsibility for managing all forms of temporary works and will provide you with up-to-date training on the procedures to be followed to mitigate risk during the planning, installation, maintenance, use, and dismantling of temporary works in construction.

Those responsible for managing all forms of temporary works require the knowledge to be able to develop their skills and knowledge in risk management procedures.

This training course is to give confidence to those responsible for monitoring and managing temporary works to ensure management systems are suitable and sufficient when undertaking temporary works on a project. It identifies and covers the risk and safety management processes outlined in the temporary works code of practice (BS 5975).

Please note: This course alone does not prove competency as a Temporary Works Coordinator. This comes from a mixture of skills, knowledge, training, and experience and should be judged by an appropriate individual.
