Take Control Vehicle Marshalling in Construction

Course Information

This course is designed for people who may be required to control the movement of construction plants for site operations, including the loading and unloading of vehicles, as well as the movement of delivery and collection vehicles within the site environment.

The purpose of the Take Control Vehicle Marshalling in Construction course is to provide delegates with training on how to manage vehicles and plants on construction sites. It aims at developing or refreshing skills to carry out vehicle and plant banker duties. Through this vehicle marshalling training, you will be expected to identify potential hazards and be able to mitigate them to reduce the risks to both vehicles and pedestrians. The course will be suitable for managers, supervisors, and those carrying out plant and vehicle marshalling duties.

The aim of this course is to provide knowledge and understanding of safe practices during plant and vehicle movement, identify hazards and risks associated with non-compliance with procedures, and ensure students understand their responsibilities in the safe use of vehicles on construction sites (HSG144) and workplace transport safety (INDG199).
