IATP, or Independent Asbestos Training Providers, is a collection of asbestos training providers who have been audited to ensure that they are competent and compliant with asbestos legislation.
This course aims to provide the necessary knowledge, understanding, and skills to any person who will knowingly disturb asbestos-containing materials during their work activities.
Successful completion of this course will allow delegates to perform non-licensed work in compliance with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 and all associated Codes of Practice. In addition to this, candidates will also be able to:
This 1-day Non-Licensed Work with Asbestos—IATP-Approved course is aimed at trades who will be required to remove or disturb Non-Licensed Asbestos include Plumbers, Demolition, property maintenance, builders, electricians, etc. and anyone who will come into contact with asbestos during their work activities. Building maintenance and supervisory personnel should also have this training to avoid putting others at risk.
