Course Information

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

This course is designed for people who may be required to select, use, issue and store ladders and step ladders as part of workplace activities or who needs familiarisation or refresher skills with the relevant regulations.

The purpose of the ladder and stepladder training course is to provide the candidates with information on the safe selection, use, maintenance, and storage of ladders (including extending ladders) and stepladders. This includes information on alternative working at height methods and equipment, ladder anchors, and harness systems.

This course can be adapted to suit the client’s requirements.
Equipment Requirements
If practical assessment is required, delegates should bring their own PPE and include suitable head protection, work gloves, hi vis vest and safety footwear. Please specify if practical assessment is required when booking. If practical is required, the client will need to provide equipment used within their organisation.
