The Emergency First Aid at Work is one full working day (approx. 6 hours including breaks).
To maintain quality and hands-on first aid experience, the recommended maximum is around 12 delegates per session.
Yes. The Emergency First Aid at Work certificate is valid for three years from the date of issue. After that time, delegates should retake the emergency first aid course to stay certified. Annual refresher sessions are also recommended to keep first aid skills fresh.
The course covers essential first aid topics for low-risk workplaces, including: the role of the first aider, adult resuscitation (CPR), choking, minor & severe bleeding, burns and scalds, shock, seizures, unresponsive casualty, casualty communication and first aid scene management.
This course is suitable for nominated first aiders working in low-risk environments (e.g., small offices, retail, hospitality) who need a cost-effective emergency first aid qualification.
Candidates whose first language is not English are welcome to attend. However, all courses are conducted, assessed/marked and certificated in English.

Yes. On successful completion of this course, delegates will receive a HSE-compliant Emergency First Aid at Work certificate valid for three years.
Yes. This Emergency First Aid at Work training is fully accredited by CITB ATO WSS Certification and meets the standards of the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981.
The certificate is valid for three years from the date of issue. Delegates will need to retake this emergency first aid course once it expires to maintain certified status.
