The First Aid at Work course runs over two full working days (approx. 6 hours including breaks per day).
To ensure effective first-aid hands-on training, we recommend a maximum of 12 delegates per session.
Yes. The certificate issued on completion is valid for three years.
Before expiry, delegates must attend this first-aid requalification course to maintain certified status and meet HSE standards.
Annual shorter refresher sessions are also recommended to keep skills current.
This course covers all the key areas of the 3-day FAW course in condensed form, including: adult resuscitation (CPR), choking, defibrillator theory, head/spinal injuries, burns, bleeding, asthma, allergic reactions, shock, poisoning, and many more first-aid emergencies.
It is designed specifically for individuals who already hold a valid FAW certificate and act as first aiders in medium- to high-risk workplaces—such as manufacturing, construction, offices and logistics environments.
Candidates whose first language is not English are welcome to attend. However, all courses are conducted, assessed/marked and certificated in English.

Yes. On successful completion of the course, delegates receive a certificate recognising their renewed status as a workplace first aider under HSE regulations.
Yes. This First Aid at Work training is fully accredited by CITB ATO WSS Certification and meets the standards of the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981.
The first-aid requalification certificate is valid for three years from the date of issue. Delegates must complete this renewal course before expiry to maintain validity.
