Course Information

The New Licensed Asbestos Supervisor course (CAT C) Asbestos Supervisor Training 3-day course is aimed at those who will supervise asbestos removal projects. This course will ensure that the supervisor will be able to ensure the safety of everyone they work with while also providing guidance and support to their other team members.

Course Requirements
Delegates must have previously completed training in accordance with paragraphs 251 and 253 of the Managing and Working with Asbestos: Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 Approved Code of Practice and guidance.

This training helps to provide the necessary knowledge, understanding, and skills to those in a supervisory role, allowing them to support others and ensure safety from asbestos in the workplace.

The Supervisor course aims to help supervisors in asbestos-related construction work by providing specific support for the role of supervisor, such as managing a team working with asbestos, understanding controlled ways to remove asbestos, and checking respiratory equipment.

Successful completion of this course will allow delegates to perform works involving asbestos in accordance with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 and all associated codes of practice. In addition to this, candidates will also be able to:
