The CSCS Red Experienced Worker Card is for those with on-the-job experience who are also registered to complete a construction-related NVQ or SVQ. This card is temporary, and candidates will be upgraded to the CSCS Blue Skilled Worker Card upon completion of their NVQ.
To apply for this card, candidates must have an in-date CITB Health, Safety, & Environment test, on-the-job experience, and be registered to complete a construction-related NVQ or SVQ at Level 2 or higher.
Candidates must provide the following evidence as minimum:
The Experienced Worker Card is valid for 1 year and is non-renewable. Candidates are expected to have completed their qualifications before the expiration of this card.
The blue skilled worker card, or CSCS blue card, is a skill card gained after a candidate has completed an appropriate NVQ or apprenticeship at level 2 or above.
