Our assessor schedules the appointments with the candidate at times that work for both parties.
Since the Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Roofing And Cladding Occupations are candidate-led, they can be completed swiftly once the majority of the evidence has been acquired for the proposed evidence list, a copy of which we've provided. After the evidence is gathered (by email), the Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Roofing And Cladding Occupations can be completed quickly in two to three sessions, lasting a few hours each, as long as the candidate can set aside time for the professional follow-up discussion to go over all of the given evidence.
The follow-up professional discussion can be completed face-to-face or remotely.

The Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Cladding Occupations (Construction) is a vocational qualification for individuals working with roofing and wall cladding systems. It assesses your competence in the installation, maintenance, and related tasks for roof and wall sheeting cladding and rainscreen wall cladding systems based on real workplace performance.
This NVQ is designed for operatives and specialists who work in cladding occupations, including roof and wall sheeting installers, cladding system operatives, and rainscreen wall cladding technicians who want formal recognition of their advanced practical skills.

There are no formal academic entry requirements. However, to complete the NVQ you must already be working in a relevant cladding role so you can provide real workplace evidence of your practical competence for assessment. Relevant industry experience is essential.
Assessment is workplace-based and involves observation of your practical work by a qualified assessor, professional discussions, written assignments where required, and the compilation of a portfolio of evidence demonstrating your competence against the national occupational standards for cladding. This may include on-site observations and review of job records showing your performance in real tasks.
Yes, you can be eligible for the CSCS Gold Skilled Workers card, as long as you have completed the relevant Operative Health and Safety Test within 2 years of applying for the card. Please contact Workforce Skills Support for further CSCS experience and trainee card information.
