If refresher course standards do exist for a particular course, then only one refresher course is eligible in a lifetime for each candidate.

To achieve the Red CPCS Trained Operator Card candidates must pass both the CSCS touch screen H+S test (within the last 2 years) and the CPCS Theory Test and the Practical Test.

Yes, the course combines theoretical and practical instruction. Participants will gain practical experience operating a forward tipping dumper under the supervision of a qualified instructor.

Candidates who successfully complete the training and pass the examinations will earn the CPCS Red Trained Operator Card for the A09 Forward Tipping Dumper. This card is good for 2 years.

To upgrade to the CPCS Blue Competent Operator Card, you must first pass the applicable NVQ (National Vocational Qualification) and get on-site experience. The Blue Competent Operator Card is good for 5 years.

To prepare, examine the fundamentals of plant machinery operation, become acquainted with health and safety standards, and educate yourself on the specialised functions and controls of forward tipping dumpers. Some training companies may give pre-course resources to assist you prepare.
