Supervisory Card - Construction Health and Safety Officer
The Level 3 NVQ Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety ( Oh & s) has been designed for people who have an element of responsibility for health and safety in their workplace. Typical roles include Team Leader, Supervisor, Safety Representative, Manager, Head of Department or equivalent. It is a vocational qualification with no formal examinations.

Supervisory Card - Occupational Work Supervisor
This Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Work Supervision (Construction) Route is aimed at “Gangers” or “Working Supervisors” who are supervising small teams. You must hold a Level 2 NVQ in a trade or Provide evidence & experience of your job, with a supporting letter from your employer.

The NVQ Level 4 Construction Site Supervision diploma is a qualification for people who want a stepping stone into construction management roles. It’s aimed at current assistant supervisors and assistant managers who are looking to obtain a nationally recognised accreditation to prove their competency in their field of work and can help to move your career forward.

The CSCS Gold Supervisor Card is a card for those working in a supervisory role. It provides candidates with a way to display their competence in the Level 3–4 NVQ or SVQ they have undertaken.
To apply for this card, candidates must have an up-to-date Supervisors CITB health, safety, & environment test. Candidates must also have either a construction-related level 3-4 Supervisory/Technical NVQ or SVQ or the Level 3 Occupational Work Supervision NVQ or SVQ, including proof of endorsed occupation.
The test required for the CSCS gold card is the CITB Supervisors Health, Safety, & Environment test. This must be in-date.
Yes, however, CSCS and SSSTS are different. CSCS cards are to prove a candidate’s competence in their area of work in the construction industry, allowing them access to sites, whereas SSSTS (Site Safety Safety Training Scheme) is the standard training for site supervisors that work on Build UK construction sites.
