This one-day course is for anyone who will be working with temporary works but not carrying out the duties of the temporary works coordinator (TWC) or the temporary works supervisor (TWS).

Temporary Works General Awareness Training Course: TWGATC is designed to raise awareness and knowledge of temporary works in general by including topics such as how they are used, issues with temporary works, and the management of temporary works. The course is constructed around BS5975, the code of practice for temporary works.

  • Microphone and speakers – to interact with the tutor and other delegates
  • Reliable internet connection – essential for participating in the full course
  • Email address – to receive course materials and exam instructions
  • Photographic ID – such as a driving licence or passport
  • Access to Zoom or Microsoft Teams – a meeting link will be sent prior to the course
