The Level 2 NVQ in Roofing Occupations is for people working on various roofing systems (tile, slate, thatch, metal, solar collector) in the workplace and want to prove their competence. This NVQ has 7 pathways that candidates can choose from based on their profession within the roofing sector.

The Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Roofing Occupations (Construction) is a vocational qualification that provides individuals with the skills and knowledge required to work in the roofing industry. It is designed to develop competence in a range of roofing tasks and covers areas such as installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs.
The qualification covers a wide range of topics related to roofing occupations, including health and safety practices, interpreting work instructions, installing roof components, repairing roofs, maintaining roofs, and working with different types of roofing materials.
The Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Roofing Occupations is assessed through a combination of on-the-job assessment and portfolio building. An assessor will observe and evaluate your performance in a real working environment and gather evidence of your competence. You will also need to compile a portfolio of work that demonstrates your skills and knowledge.
