While Level 2 NVQ grant values remain unchanged, recent changes to how training is funded mean many employers are now seeing a higher net cost than they previously experienced — particularly where qualifications were once delivered on a cost-neutral basis through Skills & Training Fund projects. At the same time, competence requirements, card schemes, and client expectations haven’t eased.

To help employers plan and budget effectively under the current funding arrangements, we’re offering a targeted Level 2 NVQ reduced-rate package until 31 March 2026. When combined with the relevant CITB grant, this delivers an overall cost broadly equivalent to around 70% funding.
