A huge congratulations to Presley Busby from Drury Joinery Services Ltd for winning our February’s “Nominate A Standout Team Member” competition!

Presley was put forward as a nominee by his employer Lee Drury as a standout team member at Drury Joinery Services, and we can see why – his effort, passion and dedication to work has won our hearts and we are thrilled to celebrate his achievements with you.

Celebrating Presley’s Achievements

Presley is a second-year Carpentry and Joinery apprentice, working with Drury Joinery Services, a small business based in Nottingham.

Having originally started out studying A levels with plans to go to university, Presley quickly realised he wanted something that involved more practical, hands-on work.

After working in hospitality for a few months, Presley started a Joinery course at college; he then met Lee and was successful in securing his apprenticeship.

Over the last year, Presley has been involved in several careers events for local school students to help inspire young people to join the construction industry and reduce the skills gap, something he is particularly proud of supporting.

Presley is a highly valued member of the team at Drury Joinery Services, and continues to demonstrate his ability and eagerness to learn. As an apprentice, Presley has developed his skills and understanding of the industry, and as well as working alongside the team on larger projects, he is now able to work independently on projects such as hanging oak doors and fitting hardware, tasks that he carries out with care and attention, ensuring the work is done to the best of his ability.

Presley’s positive attitude towards the business and the customers shines through, regularly receiving positive feedback about his high standard of work for someone so new to the industry.

As a small business owner, Lee is proud to see Presley go from strength to strength and believes Presley will become an excellent joiner, proving himself to be a real asset to both our company and the industry.
