About the Role:
We are seeking experienced, freelance Construction Health & Safety Trainers to deliver online and face-face training and assessment services to learners across the UK construction industry. You will play a key role in helping individuals and organisations meet industry training standards and qualifications.
This is a remote/flexible role with national travel, ideal for professionals with solid industry experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for developing competence and compliance in construction health and safety.
Key Requirements:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- National travel
- Ability to engage with learners of all skill and experience levels
- Reliable and well-organised with excellent planning skills
- A collaborative mindset to integrate effectively with our training team
- Experience in the delivery of several of the following: asbestos awareness, abrasive wheels, hand-held disc cutter, cat & genny, CDM (awareness, principal designer, principal contractor), confined spaces, face fit testing, fire marshal, vehicle marshal, working at height, temporary works, IATP Cat A (Awareness), IATP Cat B (Non Licensed), IATP Cat C (Licensed), and Building Safety Act.
Essential for Construction Health & Safety Trainers:
A formal teaching qualification is essential, such as:
- PTLLS
- Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET)
- Or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
A NVQ Assessor Qualification is essential, such as:
- D32/33
- A1 assessor qualification
- Certificate in assessing vocational achievement (CAVA)
- Training Assessment and Quality Assurance (TAQA)
