The CITB Skills and Training Fund is designed to help small and medium-sized construction companies invest in training that meets their business needs. As a CITB Approved Training Organisation and Employer Network Partner, we’re here to help you unlock this funding and make the most of it.

What is the Skills and Training Fund?

The CITB Skills and Training Fund is an additional pot of funding – on top of standard CITB grants – designed to support employers with fewer than 250 directly employed staff. The fund helps develop the skills of your workforce and improve business performance.

Although training requires initial payment, once your claim is processed by CITB, most or all of the costs are reimbursed making training effectively free.

What is Covered Under Skills & Training?

• CITB grant-eligible construction training and qualifications
• NVQs (Levels 2–7) required for CSCS cards (delivered by us)
• CPCS and NPORS CSCS-affiliated plant training
• CITB Site Safety Plus courses

Who Can Apply?

You’re eligible if:

• You’re a CITB-registered employer
• You have directly employed staff
• Any previously funded STF project is signed off as complete
• You are up-to-date with your Levy Return
