The 1-day CITB temporary works supervisor course is for anyone who currently or intends to supervise temporary works. This course is not a general awareness course, its main focus is teaching the roles and responsibilities of the temporary works supervisor in compliance with BS 5975 – the code of practice for temporary works. The temporary works Supervisor training course will outline the key role of temporary works supervision and the management systems used to supervise temporary works while also ensuring that everything is operating in a safe and efficient manner. The learners will be taught the importance of Communication, coordination, cooperation and competency (The 4C’s), in addition to this the course ensures that the learners are familiar with BS5975, which gives guidelines on controls for how temporary works should be managed and supervised effectively and the key role of temporary works supervision.
